The house is the former Cultural Home of Romanian artists and writers who spent the vacation days away from the heat and into the breeze and peaceful sights of the Bucegi mountains, in the area of Cumpatu, in Sinaia. Being a 5 minutes walk away from the Memorial Museum and House of the great musician George Enescu, this house has hosted and inspired Nichita Stanescu and many others in the Romanian cultural history.

My daughter and I decorated and equipped the house ourselves with great care and patience; kitchen utensils, cooking ingredients, towels, paintings, vintage typewriter, you name it and we add! The cozy wooden-deck terrace is a perfect cozy spot for breakfast! Our little house is within walking distance from the true city center (Hotel Sinaia), Peles Castle, Monastery, Casino and the central park; area is very safe and peaceful.
