The Red Cabin-Secluded Getaway with backyard Brook

Welcome to our secluded mid-century cabin nestled in the foothills of the Berkshires in Northwestern CT! When you stay here you'll find over three private acres of ferns, forests, wild flowers and a native trout brook a stone's throw from the backdoor with your private hot tub to relax in. Beyond the brook are hundreds of acres of state forest preserve. Enjoy great hiking, fishing, skiing, antiques and restaurants minutes away. Only 2 hours from NYC and 8 minutes to Historic Norfolk Center.

Country Guest Cottage/Barn

Enjoy nature in the guest cottage/barn on our property in bucolic Litchfield County. King bed in the sleeping loft and queen bed in the room. Air mattress available. Nestled in the Litchfield Hills three miles from Lake Waramaug and close to the quaint shops, restaurants, galleries and cultural scene in Kent, Bantam, Litchfield, Washington, New Preston and Cornwall, among others. Hike beautiful Kent Falls and explore the many hiking trails and ponds, lakes and rivers. Newly upgraded with Wi-Fi!

Farm House

A serene get away in a farm cottage on a real working farm. We homesteaded this property in 2012 and have created our own slice of paradise. We grow produce and flowers we sell at a local farmers market. We have Scottish Highlander cows, an ex racehorse, a shetland pony, goats, ducks, chickens, barn cats and a resident farm dog, Finula. You're welcome to roam the property, sit by the pond, visit with the animals, take a tour of the farm or explore all that Litchfield county has to offer!

The Cottage on Babbling Brook

A cozy, rustic cottage beautifully overlooking Wimsink Brook. Custom designed & handcrafted woodwork throughout the home. An all around great spot for families and friends. A magical, peaceful and relaxing space. Conveniently located on the Connecticut/New York border, just a 1 ½ hour drive or metro north from NYC. The area is a prime location, as it offers some of the most stunning and scenic hikes & drives in the country. Only a 10 minute drive from Kent, New Milford or Pawling.

The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two inflatable two person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1..
