Located at the tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula, Brooklin, Maine offers a quiet retreat a bit over an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We offer a 1st floor guest room & private bath inside our home near the Salisbury Cove area of Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, Mainely Meat BBQ, Utter Heaven Ice Cream & also Mini Golf is within walking distance. The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd and downtown Bar Harbor are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the shops, restaurants & excursions of Bar Harbor or from late June to mid Oct, catch the free Island Explorer shuttle from the end of our road.

With over 800 ft. of shorefront, 3000 ft. of old railroad bed, and 40 acres of woodland, you'll never have to leave the property to enjoy the natural beauty of the Maine coast. A short drive will take you to Acadia National Park. A full, vegetarian breakfast is included.

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub. This is room 2 on our 2nd floor. It has a private bath and the ceiling of the bathroom was once a trolley car’s ceiling. The stained glass windows give the room a rosy Medieval glow. With two comfortable chairs and a fireplace, this room has it all. We are a B&B so breakfast is included with your stay. Please see our website for the menu. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor.

Enjoy a tranquil getaway in this peaceful coastal apartment with private entrance. The updated apartment is attached to a historical (1881) inn. The property offers access to lush gardens surrounded by forest as well a short footpath to the top of the rocky shore. The Creekside Crib

Charming 2 bedroom/1 bath on entire second floor of our home with your own private access. Your space is completely separated from our living quarters. No shared rooms or spaces inside the home in your area. Home style continental breakfast items provided in your room. Enjoy access to hiking trails from your front door. The Crib is 30 minutes drive from Bangor Airport and about a 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park.

Local quaint shopping areas and restaurants in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor which is from 15-30 minutes from our B&B.
