Hill Cottage

Enjoy this beautiful, newly renovated 1900’s character house on the hill in Mount Vernon. Steps from downtown with shops, restaurants, and riverwalk, yet nestled in a quiet neighbourhood on the hill, blocks from the hospital. The house offers a full kitchen including refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, range, microwave, toaster, and kettle. Views of the Skagit River and Olympic Mountains can be seen from both floors as well as stunning sunsets. Bedrooms upstairs include 1 king bed and 1 queen bed.

Hillcrest Loft

A former artist's studio in the beautiful hillcrest park neighborhood of Mount Vernon. This spacious 550 square foot, second floor loft has 4 skylights that bring lots of natural light. It has its own entrance, a dining area, sitting area with fold-out couches, kitchenette and queen bed. Close to family-friendly activities, including Hillcrest Park playgrounds, public transport, and the city center. This studio is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

Samish Island Cottage Getaway

Peaceful home on scenic and quiet Samish Island (no ferry required!) Unique fun space! if you are adventurous and want to crash at a very unique spot this is it. First floor has a mini fridge, smart TV, instant hot water kettle, coffee maker, bottled water, day bed with plenty of bedding in storage. Then you climb the ladder and go up to the tower. There is another single bed. Out the door is a private deck overlooking the San Juan Islands with a table and chairs. Take your coffee or wine out and enjoy the day. head back down take a dip in one of the hot tubs

The Coho Cabin - A Beachfront Getaway

Welcome to the Coho Cabin, a tiny house/log cabin perched atop Skagit Bay with direct westerly waterfront views of wildlife, Whidbey Island and the Olympic Mts. Built in 2007, it's an authentic log cabin, custom designed out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Enjoy the rustic-yet-elegant vibe, radiant heated floors, cozy loft bed, outdoor bbq and private location. Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.

Barn Apartment at Avon Acres - Country Escape

Avon Acres is the perfect location to take a break from the busyness of everyday life and escape to a quiet and scenic country setting. Bring your family and enjoy a beautiful and spacious property nestled among agricultural fields in the middle of Skagit Valley. The property has a fenced backyard and lots of outdoor open space and boasts amazing sunset views of Mt. Erie and the Olympic Mountains across pastures and acres of farmland. Relax in the 6-person hot tub!

Thompson Cottage

Our sweet little cottage has recently been updated with laminate floors, new trim, doors, butcher block counter tops and back splash. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from the Keurig in the morning and snuggle up on the large sectional with a movie in the evening. All of our bedding is cotton and the queen bed has a memory foam topper on it. Recently built fence separates the yard for privacy. Lots of love went into creating this cozy, happy place for guests to stay.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We are in the heart of Skagit Valley. Our quaint downtown is a quick 10 minute walk. Less than 20 minutes away by auto you can visit Edison, La Conner, and the Salish sea. Many shops, trails, events and foodie fare are in our Guest Guide please have a look as we were thinking of you when we complied all our favorites places. We are happy to share our patio and garden with our guests.

Back Roads Airbnb

We love our quiet country home that we decided to share the back separate part of our home for mature Airbnb guest. We also decided to make the minimum stay for 7 days. Ideal for somebody who likes to work remotely, vacation or your in the Navy looking for something temporarily. We have 1.7 Landscape acres where the Island deer and Eagles roam free. We also have a fire pit to cook smores. Make sure you look at all photos. Please read House Rules.

Downtown Mount Vernon Hideaway. Riverclay Studio!

Riverclay Studio is hidden away in the alley just a few steps from the Skagit River. Edgewater Park and many popular restaurants, pubs, espresso and entertainment opportunities are within walking distance. It is reached by way of stairs from the back of the original Riverclay Studio which we once ran as a pottery and gallery and was once our home. Our address is also home to Skagit Valley Larder that operates in the downstairs level of the building.

Elephant Hill

This is a lovely, modern walkout-basement suite (2 private bedrooms with queen beds, full bath with tub/shower and warm-water bidet seat, living space with sink, quartz countertops, breakfast bar and large refrigerator--no stove). We live a quiet life upstairs with our old dog. Your suite and parking is all on one level, with no stairs or ramps. A small covered patio provides neighborhood ambiance and a place to relax outdoors.
