Climb aboard back to 1956! This DC-6 air freighter spent its life flying the skies of Alaska, hauling critical frieght and fuel to remote villages around the state. There is swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and paddle boarding. In the winter you can enjoy the lake with great access to snow mobile trails, ice fishing, sledding or watching dog mushers sled across the lake. The Iditarod sled dog race goes right in front of the house. It is a slice of Heaven.

During winter, Honeybee Lake provides direct access to Willow trail system for snowmachining, skiing, or snowshoeing.

End the day snuggled up by the fire pit enjoying the sound of the Loons on the lake under Alaska’s Aurora Borealis.
