Or ride the bus 30 min. from downtown Kyoto or 20 min. from JR Otsukyo Sta. and get off before Hieidaira convenience store. The host will meet you there. Bus service drastically reduced since Covid-19. Free parking space. Easy access to both Kyoto and Lake Biwa. Rich in nature. Completely detached, full privacy, handy & cozy like home. This is a nice place to visit Kyoto, just near the river Shirakawa, a really nice place sometimes used for movies or series. The house is near Chioin, Kodaiji, Higashiyama, Yasaka shrine. Just near the house, there is an old market where you can buy and eat Japanese food.
