Houseboat Myrtle is a totally self-contained wooden cottage on the water. Permanently Anchored in the Knysna Lagoon, it’s a two minute dinghy ride from the Knysna Waterfront and we’ll give you lessons to get you going on the water. Situated on the Bitou River just 6klm’s from Plettenberg Bay. Known for its bird life, cycling & running trails & just far enough out of town to experience a slower pace of living. A 5 or 10 minute drive to our nearest world renowned wine estates & multiple blue flag beaches to choose from.

Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

This farm grows organic vegetables and is transitioning to an off the grid lifestyle.
