Come sleep in history! The Nauvoo Manor affords you the opportunity to stay in a Nauvoo Mormon Pioneer home! This historic home is just seven blocks from the temple and sleeps up to nine comfortably. One of only a few Nauvoo red brick Pioneer homes not owned by The LDS church. The Manor is located next to the historic road to Carthage. Rufus Abbott started building this home in 1839 and finished it in 1845 just before his family left with Brigham Young to travel to Salt Lake City in Feb 1846.

All conveniently located to town attractions and just 5 minutes from the interstate.

The unit is located one block from the Mississippi River. Walking distance to several restaurants and pubs. Iowa welcome center is in the Port of Burlington on the river just east of the unit.

Great location for a family vacation. Bathroom upstairs, not suitable for those with limited mobility. We have a new air conditioning system, house stays cool during the summer months. There is only one bathroom so if you have a large group, be prepared to share. There are plenty of extra towels.
