'The Duke' Western Space on the River

'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Small, quiet cabin near Alto. Minutes away from Sierra Blanca Ski area, Winter park, midtown Ruidoso, Inn of the Mountain Gods, Bonito, Alto & Grindstone Lakes, and Ruidoso Downs. Lots of hiking areas nearby. Studio style, level entry, open floor plan w/ a SMALL loft, perfect for kids to play. Sleeps up to 6. One bathroom w/ double sink. Kitchenette has fridge & microwave, no stove. Beautiful views w/private access to Bonito River right off deck.This area doesn’t flood. Covered area for parking.

This charming 1940's log cabin has been completely updated with high-end amenities, creating the perfect balance of rustic luxury. Located on 5 acres adjacent to Carson National Forest, the cabin backs up to a beautiful mountain wall and river running right off the back deck (typically dries up Oct-Jan). Just 10 min to the plaza, you’ll be close enough to enjoy the action of town, but far enough way to escape people and immerse yourself in nature. Lots of great hiking trails just minutes away.

Abiquiu River Front Casita

Wonderful get away - 50 feet from the Rio Chama ! This Northern New Mexico farmhouse, built in 2009, as a home for an artist and Yacht Builder, sits on 7 tranquil acres, next to the Rio Chama. Relax on the screened portal and enjoy the music of the river with all its wildlife to entertain you. Old timers says this might be one of the best fly fishing spots on the river. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.

Located just off a main road, The Treehouse provides easy access to the historic Taos Plazas, Taos Pueblo (a World Heritage Site), and Taos Ski Valley.

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.
