Statement period details include parlor doors, 11-foot ceilings, fireplaces, wood paneling, and floor-to-ceiling windows. You'll enjoy twelve foot ceilings with ceiling fans, large windows with working shutters, gorgeous woodwork including a fireplace in every room (including bathrooms) and the best of furnishings and art. You will be given the access code to keys with your reservation. The front porch, laundry room and back yard are shared. The remainder is private. The house is in the heart of the oldest part of the famous Treme neighborhood, just four blocks from the French Quarter and the street car line. Clementine's Room is a lovely hideaway in Mid City on Bayou St. John. It is simply a bedroom/bath with tile shower, washer/dryer, and king bed. The door is next to a gazebo for outdoor time and the desk can be arranged for 2 to dine inside. There is a large Roku tv for streaming shows, a mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle & coffee funnel for making morning coffee or tea, and dishes & flatware for heating up a snack.
