Ambrose Hideaway

Please come enjoy our charming air-conditioned walk-out basement apartment on beautiful Block Island. The entire space is yours, with a private entrance and private bath. Open your door to an outside patio and enjoy our property on the edge of Ambrose Swamp. Just a ten minute walk from Old Harbor, ferries, restaurants, shops & nightlife. Close enough to hear the ferry's horn, but tucked away from it all next to this scenic marshland. Well-trained, housebroken pets welcome (for a small fee).

A five minute drive to downtown Newport, and a few minutes walk to Sachuest Beach, this above-garage guesthouse is detached from the main residence with its own private entrance. There is a large living area and a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. The living room sofa converts to a bed, so the property is ideal for 2 people, however, the sleep sofa can accommodate 2 more. There is no extra charge for children under the age of 18. We are dog friendly. There's a $25 charge for a second dog.

This is a 1,400 sq ft private in-law apartment with your own locked entrance completely separate from the house. The 1st floor has two bedrooms with new queen beds and a full bath. The 2nd floor has a full kitchen, pull out couch, full bath and room for an inflatable bed. Child and dog friendly with pack n play and water bowls on hand. The apartment is a five minute walk to charming downtown Jamestown and a two minute drive to local beaches and state parks, an ideal location for a lovely getaway. The drive to Newport is a rather scenic 10 minute drive over the bridge. You may be tempted to stay in, as the open floor plan and thoughtful decorating make for a pleasant accommodation. The apartment includes two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchenette with a stove top (no oven), microwave, and mini-fridge.

This open air, 1 bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 2 family home in the heart of Newport's Yachting Village. Guests will enjoy our kitchen with counter and stools as the transition to the living room, which has a slider out to the small deck with 2 chairs. Facing south, the sun warms and brightens the living room and kitchen area. We can't emphasize enough how terrific our guests find the location to be! They are always so pleasantly surprised!!!
