After a hike through the estate's private trails, check out nearby golf courses, wineries, and beaches.  Group gatherings are a breeze at Kauri Hill Estate, but when you'd like to sneak away with that special someone, that's when you'll truly appreciate the 2 separate houses. The kids will love watching movies and hanging out in the smaller lounges while the adults turn up the sound system in the main room. When the party inevitably moves to the terrace, fire up the grill and turn it into a barbeque.  Catch the big game on satellite television, and invite some friends, there's parking for 7 and a helipad. If you're playing host, the combined dinner seating for the estate is 14 inside and 14 alfresco. After dinner, let your inner mixologist shine and get crafty with a few cocktails in the kitchen. And, don't worry about the heat, both villas are fully air-conditioned.  Cycling enthusiasts and thrill seekers will want to test out the trails at Waitangi Forest.
