Downtown Bangor is a quick 10 minute drive or if you enjoy walking approximately 30-35 minutes through the lovely ‘tree’ streets.

Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Try our new outdoor shower building. There's a composting toilet indoors which works well & smells not at all. NO INDOOR PLUMBING but we supply drinking/cooking/washing water & there is a sink that drains. If you have more people & your own camping equipment, look for our other listing.
