Bluebird Nest

This 1970 Bluebird Schoolbus has been converted into a comfortable and whimsical living space. The rear connects to a new addition with a bathroom, livingroom, and sleeping loft for one adult or two kids. It is on one fenced acre in the hill country and has its own private driveway. The patio has nice cozy chairs and your choice of a propane or charcoal grill. Nestled on 4 acres and located in the heart of Waterloo recreation area, this 280sq ft skoolie boasts comfort and eclectic energy! Sure to please the outdoor enthusiast, the property is surrounded by public land with the Pinckney Waterloo Trail crossing at the end of our driveway, and several nearby lakes. Located 30 minutes to Ann Arbor, 15 minutes to downtown Chelsea which offers plenty of great eats and drinks, 20 minutes to downtown Jackson, 10 minutes to Sandhill crane winery.

We’ve renovated- there is a bunk bed, and a full bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink. The bathroom is in a separate building about 20 ft from the bus.
