Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

6 acre Ocean Bluff Cottage -Dog friendly & EV

A rare and spiritual healing place with stunning oceanfront views from a 6-acre bluff paradise. Watch whales and bald eagles from the hot tub. The cottage is heated by propane and also has a wood burning stove. We offer the option of wine, flowers, rose petals on bed and balloons for wedding proposals, anniversaries, birthdays etc - ask for our price list. We are pet friendly and charge an additional $25 a day per pet up to 3 pets. There is a home 100 ft away that shares the 6 acres. No TV.

The Perch

Overlooking a fern grotto and redwood valley, The Perch, our newly renovated room lets you experience nature up close. Come unwind and luxuriate in nature. Limited cell service. The room INSIDE has a bed, toilet, sink, mini-fridge, microwave, and electric hot water kettle. OUTSIDE a claw foot tub/shower, private deck & outside kitchen with a gas burner stove. Very rural. Eagle's Nest Treehouse Farm Stay

Eagle's Nest Treehouse Farm Stay is a tranquil, secluded, luxurious, romantic wilderness experience in a private forest on a 400 acre working ranch. Thirty feet above the forest floor you are nestled in a gorgeous, well-appointed suite of 1,000 year old polished redwood, with bathroom and amazing copper/glass forest-view shower. Lavender rows blooming below the paddock fence fragrant the air during the summer months and available for harvesting. Outdoor seating to enjoy the mornings, a little ocean view and sunsets. The Navarro Beach estuary is just a few miles away for walking or wading. No Wifi creating a true country experience which we think you'll enjoy offering solitude, disconnecting and reinventing.

Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

If you are looking for a farm stay in the redwoods, come stay with us at this studio cottage with a full kitchen, washer dryer, patio, and fire pit. Enjoy the early morning (and sometimes all day) sounds of ducks, geese, turkeys and cattle . Surrounded by acres of Redwood trees, no street lights, and lots of wildlife. Enjoy the stars from the patio in redwood rocking chairs. The cottage has Roku Smart TV, NETFLIX, WIFI & all basic bath & kitchen essentials.
