Island Retreat: Quiet and convenient.

This beautiful studio is in a private house on one of Savannah's barrier Islands. It is 12-15 minutes drive to Downtown ( Use Uber to take advantage of downtown Savannah's open container laws) and 10 minutes to the beach at Tybee Island. The room has a small private bath with shower with rain head, a full closet, coffee maker and fridge, vanity table. Mark, co-host, is a retired local guide who can provide information if needed. Located on Wilmington Island - 15 minutes from historic downtown Savannah and 15 minutes from Tybee Island beach - but not sure why you would ever want to leave our beautiful view of Half Moon River, Wilmington Island Sound, the barrier islands and the ocean beyond! We rent the bottom floor of our vacation home - it has its own separate entrances. 900 foot dock to walk to the river to fish, look for porpoises or go crabbing. Watch the herons and egrets in the marsh at low tide.
