FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

Casa Palma

Stylish tropical detached villa opposite the palm fringed beach and a short stroll to the laid back village of Mission Beach with a great choice of restaurants bars and galleries. Ideal for singles or couples with a queen bedroom and a daybed in living room. A cot and high chair are available. Soak up the sun on the deck lounges. Relax in the exclusive use of the cabana and cool off in the plunge pool. Continental breakfast provisions are complimentary. Casa Palma is for house guests only.

Marguerites On Magnetic Polynesian Cabana

The solar Polynesian Cabana has its own boardwalk through the tropical garden. Luxuriously appointed with bamboo flooring a Balinese carved 4 poster queen fine cotton sheets and linens. The Cabana has aircon ceiling fan floor to ceiling louvres and fully screened sliding doors. The living area, bathroom and the kitchenette are semi outdoor with a two gas burner stove top, a mini oven and a bar fridge. The deep salt 10m pool is shared with the 3 other guest houses. Only 400m to the beach.

Mount Louisa Castle

This modern home offers stunning views, scenic walking trails, and remarkable acoustics. The cottage is on a ten acre property surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Rare and endemic species of rainforest and fruit trees. Wildlife and birds live and visit the property . Tree kangaroos nearby. The Crater Lakes National Park and several towns are only a 10 min drive. Secluded and magical in it's nature , Wompoo is the place to stay and take in natures ever changing ambience.

Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Breakfast supplies included.
