Geldeston is a glorious place to be and enjoyed by many visitors. The village is on the river Waveney with lots of places to access the river, very popular with walkers, cyclists and boaters. Peaceful, romantic barn conversion in the grounds of an 18th century mill house on the river Wensum at Lyng Mill, North Norfolk. Swim in the river or light the wood burner - get back to nature in this cosy romantic setting. The Old Paper Mill was once the drying room for a Victorian paper Mill. It sits on the banks of the mill pond, a perfect wild swimming spot with its own outdoor shower. It is bright and airy in summer but warm and cosy in the winter months. We love dogs, all welcome.

The property dates from the 1800s and whilst it now has all the nice bits you would expect, we have retained original features like exposed beams, old bread maker and copper boiler.

A pub and cafe are a short walk away. Hot tub rental (£85 per stay) available. We also have storage for bikes and there is a launching area for canoes and paddleboards a 5 minute walk away at the moorings.
