The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. We are just on the outskirts of town, far away enough for a country feel and close enough to go grab a quick bite to eat. We are in a quiet family neighborhood and a few minutes off HWY 101, super easy to hop on or off the main road. Hurricane Ridge, Dungeness Spit, Lavender Farms galore are a short drive away. So much to explore and do here.

Yummy Beach #2 - pets welcome!

Here on Miami Beach, or "my yummy beach" as a certain three-year-old once called it, you will have front-row seats to the grandeur of the Hood Canal where the Olympic Mountains rise majestically from the depths of the sea. Our unique cottage resort is situated right on the water's edge. Cottage #2 is the middle of three attached units. The hot tub is outside of Cottage #1 and is shared among all three units.
