The apartment is located in a quiet laneway, but it's just a short walk to all the action on Cuba Street. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore, and you're also within walking distance of the waterfront, Te Papa and the Botanic Gardens. No private parking space.

I'm an architect, and originally designed the studio as a workspace at the rear of our home for my photographer husband, Ian. The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.
