De buurtwinkels en restaurants zijn op wandelafstand.

Het Tuinhuisje ligt dicht aan een station (5min wandelafstand) Sint-Mariaburg of Ekeren. Ook als je met de wagen komt, is er voldoende parkeergelegenheid in de straat.
