Rivers End Farm Stanford Cabin with solar energy

The log cabin is situated in a bird sanctuary on the outskirts of Stanford overlooking the Klein Rivier It is raised on stilts allowing for one of a kind views of beautiful wetlands, mountain ranges and surroundings. As rainfall throughout the year isn't consistent the water levels change at will. This means that you will either have a massive body of water enabling you to use the canoe or peddle boat or a dried up pan perfect for walks to the river. Discover Middlevlei Reserve: Hidden between Hermanus (15 min) and Cape Town (1.5 hrs), Middlevlei Reserve is the perfect escape from city life. Inside, you'll find Meerenbosch — a paradise for nature lovers, filled with Milkwood trees and birdsong. The cabin is near the Bot River Lagoon and the sea, where wild horses roam the beach. Breathe in the sea air, relax, and walk on the beach every morning and sunset. Visit Middlevlei Reserve for hiking, birdwatching, and some seaside peace and quiet.

Concordia Dam Cottage

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

Featuring shared access to a lovely undercover outside patio with small splash pool, and lovely views, this cosy cabin is an ideal getaway if you need a dose of fresh air and peace! Explore our renosterbos conservancy with some antelope and zebra, play in the river, fish and explore til your little ones pass out from exhaustion of all the farm fun!

Oppiedam Family Cabins (Flamingo)

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.

A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas and a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean.
