Herons is totally unique, a beautiful detached lodge situated on the banks of the River Thames. Beautiful interiors and the views are simply wonderful from sunrise to sunset. Herons is the perfect place to unwind and relax, just sit and watch the wildlife and the boats milling along the river. Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature, a slice of heaven on a private island, exclusively for you . The Island is made up of an upturned boat for sleeping in, a covered kitchen/bar with its own stove, and a private wood fired hot tub. The river Coln flows alongside, and the accommodation is reached by footbridge. Walks stretch out in every direction, and Fairford and Lechlade and Clarksons pub are close. No availability? A king size double bed, shower and toilet. A log burner for chillier times and fully insulated. Sooth yourself with our luxury handmade sheep milk soap. Fresh eggs from our chickens. Surrounded by our sheep and lambs in the fields yet within walking distance of the village, pub or circuit. No dogs. No Children.

A beautiful private space all to yourself, the Oak Barn has great character & enjoys lovely views over fields to the Chilterns beyond. You have your own entrance & key so can come & go as you please. The hamlet of Preston Crowmarsh lies on the river Thames & is a great place to wild swim & watch red kites. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Thames towpath & an 8 minute walk to the bus stop for Oxford and Reading. We leave you to enjoy your privacy but are next door in the main house if needed.
