Semi -Detached Studio

A bright sunny studio that has a separate entrance, its own kitchen and bathroom. The bed is a comfortable day bed which coverts to a full King sized bed for two guests. Alternatively, the two beds can be left as single beds. The second bed is stored underneath the day bed and had sturdy legs that pull out. Double French doors open onto a sunny courtyard for guests to enjoy and relax in. The studio is next to the pool which is available for use in the summer. Full cooking facilities. No pets.

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac on a peninsula. Your private self-contained space is upstairs with lovely 180 degree sea views and sunshine. Listen to the birds; enjoy some home grown fruit when in season. We can recommend some great local walks (long or short) ; take our kayaks out on the inlet; enjoy the outdoor pool and/or BBQ in summer. Walk to local shops & cafes; take a short drive to some excellent restaurants & Lighthouse movie theatre or go into Wellington by car/train (20 mins).

It is a great get away for couples wanting a romantic getaway on the Kapiti Coast. If the sky’s are clear this is a great location for night photography. There's a tripod for your phone as well as binoculars to view the constellations from the comfort of a patio moon chair & blanket. There is a sauna, spa pool & swimming pool which is solar heated through summer.

Station Cottage, Khandallah

This is a comfortable self contained one bedroom cottage at the rear of a large garden behind our home. Our villa is well over a century old. The train station is next door and it takes 20 minutes by train to arrive in the city and Stadium. There’s a couple of restaurants and a cafe just outside our gate and a 10 minute walk to the village for more cafe/dining options, supermarket and shopping. Walking/hiking up Mt Kau Kau and along the Northern Walkways is right at our doorstep

The Gatehouse boutique private cottage.

Welcome to The Gatehouse luxury cottage set in leafy Lowry Bay, 20 minutes from Wellington city. The Gatehouse is split over two levels and provides premium accommodation for one couple. The perfect boutique getaway, the ground floor offers a generous living area, two large couches and banquet seats set into a sunny bay window. Our tiny home has stunning views of the pond and native bush in a lovely private setting. We have stunning birdlife like tui, kereru, fantail, sparrow, quail and many more! Matai Huka is a wedding venue and our tiny home is set on a private area of our 8 acre property with beautiful gardens and ponds where you can wander around at your leisure. We have a private spa pool available on request from 9.00am till 9.30pm.

The Pool Studio

Newly built 'pool house' in sunny Silverstream. Self contained unit separate from the main house with access to a salt water swimming pool. Nice and close to the train station, the supermarket and Silverstream Village plus venues like "Silverstream retreat" and St Patricks College. Luxury linen, towels and bathroom products. Continental breakfast is included, plus a Nespresso machine for your morning coffee.
