Birchwood Lodge is a log cabin just above the banks of Loch Tay and in the shadow of the Ben Lawers range of Munros, in Highland Perthshire. It features an open plan design with under floor heating. There's a comfortable double bed, shower room, private hot tub & sauna, gas BBQ, free wifi, DVD player, Sky TV with movies and sports & SONOS music system. We have a private beach with gazebo across the road (shared only when we are at our holiday house), and a Canadian Canoe available for guests.

For adrenalin junkies there's gorge walking, white water rafting and bungee jumps on the doorstep or simply enjoy hikes and cycling in the surrounding area. Fuel yourself at the on site bistro or choose from plenty of eateries nearby.

Perfect for walking, kayaking, cycling, climbing the many hills and mountains in the area or simply relaxing for a few days and enjoying the nature. Overnight sleeper is a great transport option.

Rannoch moor is a place of peace and tranquility, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. Our much smaller Star Hut is also on Airbnb.
