Characteristic hut located in a high mountain pasture (7 huts)at 1000 meters above sea level. Reachable only on foot in 40 minutes from the village of Miazzina (VB) by an easy path.Allows to enjoy the wild atmosphere of the nearby Val Grande Park and offers an outstanding view over Lake Maggiore.The hut is equipped with a wood boiler providing hot water and with a solar panel producing electricity for lighting and charging electronic devices. Nestled in the picturesque Valsesia, in the heart of Piedmont, the exclusive chalet La Libellula is located in Scopello, Vercelli province. Enjoy a peaceful retreat just minutes from the Mera ski slopes and only 40 minutes from the renowned Alagna Valsesia ski area. This fully independent property features a double bedroom, a room with a sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a spacious living room with a GPL fireplace, which is for heating only and not suitable for burning wood.

Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)
