Hiker's Retreat Cabin

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

Situated on a 40-acre private and secluded eco-estate the Northfield cabin is the perfect base for exploring the stunning Lost Sierra. The 3 bedroom cabin is well suited for a couple, family, or group excited to spend quality time together. A 360-degree forest-scape allows for privacy along the bank of Jackson Creek. The two-story cabin boasts a secluded large deck with a grill area for an impromptu afternoon barbeque. Enjoy private access to the peaceful Middle Fork of the Feather River.

The Red Fox Property is a secluded cabin set back within the forest. Escape into this 3,200 sq foot residence and forget your worries behind. A state of the art kitchen and appliances makes large gatherings easy and fun. 4 bedrooms & 2 common areas the cabin allows guests their needed space. Hiking, lake swimming and exploring is a beautiful 20 minute drive to the Gold Lakes Basin area. 5 Fantastic golf courses are just 15-30 minutes away. So much to do in our rural area and come back to our peaceful hideaway.
