Welcome to Wanderlust Cabin, a cabin our guests describe as 'better than you can imagine.' We are located in the remote and peaceful town of Ponderosa. This High Sierra mountain cabin offers comfort, silence, and a place to detach and unwind from the city in front of our cozy fireplace. We are the perfect home base for visiting Trail of 100 Giants, Freeman Creek Tail/George Bush Tree, Seven Teacups, Dome Rock, Slate Mountain, Nobe Yong Falls, and all the Sequoia National Forest has to offer.

Relax and commune at our quiet storybook cabin. We are in the Sequoia National Forest- not the Park, fyi. 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, 1 bedroom and a full bath downstairs. A little gas log stove compliments the Nest central heating, keeping it toasty even as the snow piles high. We are on a 1/2 acre with a lovely meadow just steps from the back porch. But- while you're here, a couple musts are: fishing the Tule River, hiking Dome Rock, the Needles Trail, and playing a game of pool with the locals at the Tavern down the road. Another must is seeing the Giant Sequoias at the Trail of 100 Giants. We are not near the National Parks.
