Delightfully Cozy Historic Post Office/Guesthouse

Estelene was established in 1910 and served as a community center and post office for rural people of southwest Baca County until 1927. Estelene was named after Estelene Collins, the lady who operated the post office on the Collins Ranch where it was located. Estelene was also a teacher at the local schoolhouse for a time. The story goes that after she got older and unable to climb the hill to the original post office, she asked the community to build her a post office closer to the house.

Boise City is located in a five state area 25 to 30 miles in each direction you can be in another state. Black Mesa is the highest point in Oklahoma and is located 30 miles west. people enjoy the wide open spaces and are known to go hiking , star gazing, bird watching, hunting, a fishing.

My place is close to the center of Boise City, OK.. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We are a good stopping point before heading to the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico. Boise City has a new family owned restaurant. We also have an incredible museum that highlights the dust bowl. We welcome you to "No Man's Land".

Bosque House in Higbee Valley

Secluded adobe house on a working cattle ranch in the Purgatoire River valley. The two-bedroom historic house was built around the turn of the last century and has been renovated in a rustic style. Higbee Valley is a birdwatcher’s paradise surrounded by beautiful mesas and cliffs. If you are looking to unplug and enjoy the quiet countryside with stunning sunrises and spectacular star-gazing, this could be your get-away.

Spacious 3 bedroom, two bathroom home with bonus room to play board games and put puzzles together. Large fenced in backyard perfect for backyard get togethers. Home is in a quite neighborhood, and within walking distance to the public swimming pool, OKC Thunder basketball courts, track, football, softball, and baseball fields, City Park, Fair Building, and the Cimarron Heritage Museum.
