Welcome to my harbour in my home town, from where I depart from the various journeys around the world to photograph its most fascinating and moving stories. My grandfathers were born in this house, and later used it as a barn and cowshed. Abandoned in the last decades, I renewed it and furnished with recycled vintage stuff. My family living close-by run a biological farm, producing honey, eggs, oil and vegetables. I would call it an oasis of peace in a vanishing traditional world.

The property is a beautifully renovated farmhouse dating back to the 16th century. Stone cladding, wooden beamed ceilings, and an antique fireplace alternate with sleek mid century interiors and contemporary artwork in a perfect, sophisticated and sumptuous mix. The large windows offer a beautiful view of the garden and the Euganean Hills.

La struttura sorge in una posizione collinare all’interno dei territori delle ville di Andrea Palladio. La villa è il frutto della ristrutturazione di un manufatto del 1600 in chiave contemporanea. Il risultato è uno stretto contatto con il suggestivo affaccio panoramico sulla pianura padana che spazia fino agli Appennini. Da qui si può facilmente ammirare in tutta la sua bellezza il volo del gheppio nella vallata antistante, che ha ispirato il nome dell’alloggio.

If you're here for work, there's also a desk. For leisure, we recommend relaxing in the garden with its large gazebo, where you can unwind after a day of exploring.
