Old Mountain Road Retreat Raglan

Situated in the secluded Waitetuna Valley is our modern but rustic, luxury accommodation. This unique rural getaway is less than 30 mins from Hamilton and 15 mins on to Raglan. There is one large bedroom upstairs with a King bed and a second queen bed downstairs. ( suitable for couples, small adult groups and children over 12 ) Soak up the peaceful ambience in our beautiful wood-fired hot tub or go for a short walk to our lovely creek where our pet eels are plentiful and enjoy being hand fed.

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. On the outside, the home features a sleek industrial aesthetic and a private outdoor bath, while the inside bursts with a boutique design style, neutral greys, and wood accents. The country stay is located down a typical New Zealand country road. Surrounded by dairy farms and kiwi fruit orchards, guests may see farmers about their daily work. Feel free to wave out to them if they drive past in their tractors.

Make your accommodation an experience to remember in this beautiful tiny house. Stand-alone the tiny house is set in a quiet cul-de-sac, separate from the main house. Street facing and easily accessible, the perfect place to relax and a great base for local events. The tiny house has a queen sized bed upstairs and a single fold-up bed can be provided when required. Fully insulated and double-glazed, with a heat pump/air-conditioning unit to ensure year round comfort.

Come escape the city!! Our private modern self contained studio is set in the beautiful Waitetuna Valley countryside near Raglan. The studio is a purposely built unit located underneath the main house and has its own private parking space, entranceway and garden. If your looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life then look no further. Its a short 25 min drive to Raglan and 30 mins to Hamilton. 40 minutes to Mystery Creek Events Centre.

Your Hosts are quirky and fun which means this accommodation is the same. Off Grid paradise with close connection to nature and great uninterrupted views of epic Sunsets over the West Coast and Mount Karioi. We live on the property. Paulina loves to tend her Gardens and Neil is a keen local surfer. Bucket loads of fresh air and room to stretch out. The house is good for couples and solo adventurers. Extra room is available upon request.
