Welcome to our cozy tiny house in Culpeper, VA! This is the perfect retreat for couples/small groups looking for a unique & memorable experience. W/ open 2 lofts & a pull out couch this home sleeps up to 6 guests. The fully equipped kitchen allows for easy cooking. The composting toilet is an eco-friendly alternative w/o giving up convenience. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit & lounge area or visit some of the nearby attractions like Shenandoah National Park, shops downtown, & Death Ridge Brewery!

As you approach the driveway on the private lane, you'll be welcomed by beautiful meadows and rolling hills. Set on 10 acres in a shaded, forest of mature trees it's comfortable year round. There are beautiful mountain views from several locations on the property. It's peaceful and quiet here most of the time. We're conveniently located just minutes from Flint Hill, not much farther to Washington VA, Sperryville and Front Royal. It's a two bedroom/one bathroom apartment above a detached garage.

The Cottage is the original farmhouse built in 1794 when the farm was founded .We are located on the Hughes river ( native trout fishing) at the foot of Old Rag Mountain only two minutes from the parking lot @ Old Rag. Access to White Oak Canyon and Shenandoah National Park are only minutes away. We are also a working vineyard and winery with our tasting room open Friday thru Sundays and by appointment. Please read all of the description below, and scroll to the bottom before booking! Note—the cabin can be warm in the summer and chilly in the winter due to the logs and chinking. There is a window unit AC and heater in the winter. Also note—the full restroom/shower is a 30 yard walk to the basement of our home. Kuerig with coffee. No refrigerator or microwave.

Our cabin, located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains is uniquely positioned overlooking a large open field where hawks hunt and bears leisurely stroll. Our neighbors have horses that peer over the fence (nosy) pet them but don’t feed them, please. Our cabin was built in 1865 by a Confederate soldier returning from the Civil War. Eleven children were born and raised in John Pope Cabin. Our cabin is rustic. An inviting front porch with swing is waiting for you @walnuthillcabin

Need some time to refresh? Spending time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage may be for you. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not on furniture. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed and gets rutty during rainy periods. Cell service is spotty on Browntown road. The cottage has a landline and wifi. Use your wifi calling feature for cell phone use. More info under photos.

Our cozy efficiency apartment is close to a variety of attractions including first class dining and nearby hiking trails. The unit is fully furnished with a full bath, full kitchen, off street parking, and private deck and entrance. We are a short drive to the park or a short walk to downtown Sperryville.
