Relax by the beautiful wood burning stove in the spacious living area or soak in the jacuzzi tub after a long day of skiing or hiking. Enjoy views of the snow and local wildlife while having your coffee by our large windows or on the spacious deck.

Queen bed, and sofa bed in master bedroom and sofa bed upstairs make it ideal for a couple with children...or better yet a romantic getaway for two with working wood stove and 360º views of the Valdez valley and the surrounding mountains. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. Approximately 15 minutes from Red River, NM, still close enough to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and other fun activities this mountain town has to offer.

Taos Earthship, 2 bdrm Virtual Hideaway!

This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!

Bunkhouse is detached and private for the guest.

This unique place has a style all its own. Resting in an old mining town with a great view of Baldy and Wheeler mountain. You can find us about halfway between Angel Fire and Red River, both amazing ski resorts! The bunkhouse is 1 bedroom with a sitting room, and a small bathroom, and shower. We have a swivel TV, and the internet. My husband and I live in the house next door with our 2 friendly dogs, and cats, so if there are any concerns, we are close by. We would love to host you!
