The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

The Kamburinn cottage is located in a small village called Hveregardi in the south-west of Iceland, a 40-minute drive from the capital, which will allow you to easily visit the attractions on the Golden Circle route. This village is popular for its phenomenal hiking trails, one of them is Reykjadalur Hot Springs. The cabin is in a secluded location in a mountainous area which allows you to see fantastic views of the Northern Lights, decorated cozy with everything you need during your stay.

The cottage is family-owned and is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings next to Medalfellsvatn Lake with spectacular views over the lake. The cottage is located near Reykjavi­k, about 30-40 minute drive from Reykjavik. It is ideally situated amongst Iceland's most popular attractions. Many of the attractions are within 1 one-hour drive from the cottage, e.g. the Þingvellir National Park, which is on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir. Hot tub available upon request for €15 per day.

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Cosy cabin located on a farm only 20 minutes from Reykjavík!:) on the way to the golden circle which offers room for 4 people. Come and stay at our farm and visit our wonderful animals. There are also fun experiences around our farm such as a lot of beautiful hiking trails, horse riding and more. Very good for families. It's a very good location to plan day trips from. If there are northern lights you can see right outside the door.

Einnig aðeins 15 mínútna keyrsla að Hvammsvík hot spring. Hér færðu sveitasælu í íslenskri náttúrufegurð en ert samt örstutt frá miðborginni og gullna hringnum. Fullkomin staðsetning. Rafmagn, heitt og kalt vatn og hiti í gólfinu er í húsinu.

It has a simple but well equipped kitchen, electric heating and shower. It is ideal for groups of 4 or 5 but can accommodate up to 7 guests if utilizing the double sofa bed in the living area.
