Located in the centre of the lovely village of Kilburn on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the Little House is peaceful, cosy and self-contained, tucked away from the general hustle and bustle of the village with a safe garden for dogs and children. The Forresters Arms, serving local ales and meals, is a mere 20m across the square, it is best to reserve a table. The Mouseman Furniture Centre is just around the corner and the White Horse of Kilburn is a good walk up the hill.

'The Orchid' is a cosy, self-contained, stand alone guest space, neatly tucked away behind the main house. Inside is a fully equipped kitchen and shower room. A separate shower room leads off the lounge area. The bedroom includes a king size bed set in the alcove of the original stone entrance. Recently refurbished it is situated between the North Penines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is convenient for the Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, Pennine Way and Coast 2 Coast route, there are plenty of places to walk and explore.
