Away from a main road, up a private driveway is Claret Ash Cottage. Just a few paces from the front door is an organic flower and herb garden where plants are cultivated for skin care products. You are welcome to explore the 33 acre property and a must see is the panoramic view from the hill. The quiet tree lined dirt road behind is a perfect walking trail. This farm is 35 mins from Adelaide and only 10 mins drive to shops or local eateries. We invite you to experience life on a working farm.

Inside, you will find a newly renovated bathroom, a very well-equipped kitchen, lounge, and dining room with a wood-burning stove and sunset views. Outside, you will find a landscaped garden with a BBQ and veranda, fire pit, and spectacular views of the vineyards and ranges. Take a 15 minute stroll into Tanunda, Barossa's hub with restaurants, bars and pubs..

The Adelaide Hills is a refreshingly relaxing place to explore in Summer in the cool of the Hills; and winter wineries, open fireplaces, historic sites and warm, stone buildings of which Tara Stables is one. Built in the 19th century, this delightful abode offers warm, romantic vibes as you cosy up between the colourful stone walls and beneath the open rafters. Spacious rooms offer plenty of space and the outdoor courtyards are great to sit around the firepit and soak in the country air.
