Dreamy Loft by the Opera Theater

Uncover a sparkling gem where every piece of furniture showcases artisan work through Afghani tapestries, Aleppo's carpets, and batiks from Java. I was for a long time a war correspondent and, in my journeys, I always made a point of bringing back a book, a carpet, a stone, a painting, a fragment of memory so that the world may live in my Roman home. The flat is available for brief stays but also for longer periods. Being less than a block away from the Opera Theatre, it could be the perfect base for singers and musicians. Were you not inclined to walk, the loft is located between the two main metro lines - A and B - that take you to most of the sightseeing. There is plenty of silence and light. The light is important, I believe and the silence as well. The loft is on the 6th floor, with the elevator. Colosseum Archeoloft in Historic Center of Rome

Access is via a small square, typical of the center of Rome, a few meters from the Colosseum. Independent entrance, unique for combining ancient walls and design furniture, 50 m2 on two levels, equipped with all comforts: a/c, private sauna for two, TV, Wifi. Bathroom with window, living area with kitchenette, double bed, shower. We like to imagine that the ancient tuff wall and the brick arch, preserved inside, were part of a Roman cistern for shows of naval battles.
