Situated in the scenic woods of northern Michigan yards away from Houghton Lake, this comfy cabin is a great place to relax after a full day of fun. It is the PERFECT spot for summer lake fun, outdoor activities, ice fishing adventures, trail riding and more. Conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, playground, volley ball court, tennis court, boat launch, ice cream shop, state trails AND MORE! Thousands of acres of state land to hunt and fish. Bring your ATV's, UTV's or rent them locally and hit the trails right from the cabin. Perfect location for bike riding or walking to town. Beautiful all sports Lake Saint Helen and Cove Beach just 1 mile away. Perfect for backyard bonfires while viewing wildlife of deer and turkeys.

Base Camp - ORV trail access

2 bedroom cabin with ORV trail access to the renowned St Helen trail system. Cozy space with thoughtful amenities and retro gaming. This 750 sq ft cabin has everything you need: a full kitchen, washer/dryer, huge outdoor space with grill & fire pit. Fully fenced-in yard for doggie guests. Plenty of parking for trucks, trailers, ORVs, boats, etc! Note: There's another rental on the property close to this one. But each has private yards, parking, and driveway. Rent both for larger groups!

The beach is sandy with no sea wall & perfect for swimming! The beach and dock are shared with 3 other cabins. Higgins Lake is just a 10 min drive away or consider a day trip to Petoskey or Traverse City.

Our cabin is nestled in the trees with a short walk to Lake St. Helen. Relax after a day of fun in the sun or trails! 3 bedrooms, 1 bath plus an outdoor shower. We have 1 king bed, 2 full beds and a couch. Many state ORV trails nearby. Ride from the cabin to the trails. Fishing at the pier or boat rentals available at the marina. Cookout, have a campfire, or head into town to eat. We have a jet pack by Verizon for limited wifi service or bring your own wifi. Smart TV w/out Cable.

Pet Friendly Houghton Lake Cabin - No Cleaning Fee

My place is close to Lake St Helen, ATV Trails, The Dream, Nightmare Golf Courses. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, it is a wonderful spot to enjoy a weekend away.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (dogs). Additional $50.. This will be charged during your booking. The cleaning fee is for supplies/house cleaner. Please do not leave a sink full of dirty dishes behind. Leave cabin in the same condition as you arrived. Thanks
