We have created a haven of tranquility to return to after a busy day sightseeing or to hide away in and relax if that’s what you’re looking for. All the seasons are beautiful here, spring and summer and autumn with their vibrant colours, a time for exploration, and in winter you can enjoy the pure air and wrap up warm for exploring, or just simply cosy up inside our lovely, comfortable cottage.

Coed Issa is a traditional cottage dating form the early 1800’s. Following a complete renovation it is now available as a comfortable and cosy eco-friendly holiday let. There are two lovely bedrooms each with a king sized bed, it can sleep four people comfortably. Bedding and towels are provided. The original house also houses a snug with log burner and desk, utility room and downstairs shower room. The new extension has a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room with exceptional views.

For cyclists there are great road routes or if you are more of a mountain biker we are 15mins drive from Oneplanet Adventure. Offa’s Dyke path is a short walk from the cottage, alternatively the village's community pub & shop is a 15min walk. Birdwatchers love watching for Kingfishers on our deck which overlooks the river Alyn.

It has a spacious, open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with a separate bedroom (with king sized bed) and large walk-in wardrobe/dressing table. An excellent pub/restaurant, The Dinorben Arms, offers real ales and great food, just a 15 minute walk away. Convenient location for local walks on the hills, along the river or Offas Dyke path. Outdoor pursuits and many other activities are available in the Snowdonia National Park and along the beautiful North Wales Coast.

By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.
