Being at the foot of the Howardian Hills provides a wealth of walking opportunities and we are just a short drive away from some spectacular market towns, including Helmsley (8m) Malton( 5.4m), Ampleforth (9.7m) and Pickering (8.5m). Overlooking the National trust property and gardens, Nunnington Hall, from your bedroom window. Great location for walking, biking but equally York city center is only 19 miles away. Accommodation is a self contained ground floor suite with direct outdoor access, part of a 16th century almshouse renovation.

There are lots of local village pubs within 2.5 miles of us where you can go for a drink or meal or even visit the food capital of Malton

The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a double bed with wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

Goose End Cottage, North Yorkshire

Take a break and unwind in a characterful cottage set in beautiful countryside. This 18th century grade-II listed property is right beside the River Seven, in the picturesque village of Sinnington, and the North York Moors National Park. The cottage is full of original character, whilst having all the amenities needed for a relaxing break. Many amazing walks can be enjoyed from right outside the door and the wonderful village pub and restaurant is only a few minutes walk away.

The Mill House

Beautifully renovated 300 year old Mill House, cosy cottage feel on our working farm on the edge of the Wolds. A perfect cottage for two, tasteful and spacious bedroom with on suite bathroom. Snug living and dinning area with warm log effect stove, original exposed beams and all the facilities. Easy access to York, North York Moors, National Park and coast. A short drive from many wonderful attractions and activities. We are unable to take short breaks in July and August .
