Come and stay in our beautifully finished, tin shepherds hut at the bottom of our garden. We are located in the rolling countryside with extensive views over the vale of York. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

A cosy shepherds hut on a working hill farm, in the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Simply sit, relax, watch the birds and admire the view or explore the surrounding area. Walk from the hut or one of the local famous walks such as Cleveland Way, Wainstones, Roseberry Topping. Helmsley and Stokesley are lovely little market towns to explore or Whitby and York both within an hours drive. We only have one hut, so there is no sharing of facilities and the area is very private.

The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.
