Our eco-friendly lodge is in a pristine mountain setting on 38 acres in Hope Valley, California, one of the most gorgeous natural landscapes in the Sierras. In the winter, we'll bring you to our lodge over the snow in a snowcat! From the lodge you can hike, kayak, fish, bikeride, snowshoe, ski, snowmobile or admire fall colors of the aspens. Ours is a quiet rural road nestled in beautiful oaks, redwoods, California bay, buckeye trees near the bottom of Fitch Mountain, some 100’ above the Russian Rive. Fitch Mountain is known for its interesting local history, eclectic building styles, beautiful views, secluded neighborhoods, and friendly spirit.

Calling all City Slickers ! Come live a life of horseback riding, tractor driving , egg collecting..you can do all the farm chores and we'll just sit back and relax! (kidding) You should be a dog & cat lover! This is an active, non-profit rescue and adoption center. The dogs are in kennels, but have liberty at times each day and they love people! Please be a total non- smoker. This room is intended for 1 or 2 adults and 1 or 2 children, 12 or older. Your FIXED, vaccinated dog is welcome.

"The Hollies" Wine Country Victorian Farmhouse

Our home is a Victorian farmhouse on 7 acres in an apple orchard with a redwood grove, a pond, and barns. The main house, built in 1910 and remodeled in 1996, is surrounded by an English garden and is on a quiet country lane. The upstairs is a lovely private suite with a private entrance. We book to only one party at a time (read full description) and the home is fully air conditioned. I am a professional artist and Al is an author of children's books. Come visit our little piece of heaven!

We are centrally located between Bodega Bay, the town of Sonoma, the Russian River, West Marin (Pt Reyes)and even Napa. Downtown Petaluma is a 13 minute walk(a little more coming back) from our yard.
