This spacious home is nestled on the edge of a working cattle ranch with 360 views showcasing Mt. Shavano and the Collegiate Peaks. Enjoy the starlit sky and privacy this beautiful acreage provides. It's right in the heart of all things recreation and central to Monarch ski area, Mt Princeton Hot Springs, downtown Salida/BV, fishing/boating access, hiking/biking trails, and 14 thousand ft. peaks. The Historic Ranch House

We have intentionally tried to preserve as much of the ranch house as possible while still updating the house to today’s standards. The most notable piece of history is the Monarch cook stove in the kitchen, the doorways and doors that are not as tall as today’s standards, the original wood floor in the master bedroom and original moulding around some of the doors. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house with all the amenities from home. We hope you enjoy our little piece of ranch history!

Owner managed, with personal service! Warm, cozy, southwestern home 100 feet from the South Arkansas river with your own private beach! Built in 2014 on 20-acres with a private drive, 900' of riverfront with a trail, superb privacy with great views, only 3.5-miles from downtown Salida and 18-miles from Monarch. With a big garden and chickens (fresh veggies and eggs in season!), we're frequented by visits from deer, great-horned owls, red-tailed hawks, and sometimes wild turkeys and elk!
