1 Room Rustic Dry Camping Cabin 8 at BV Overlook

A rustic dry camping cabin with a front row view of the Collegiate Peaks. This is a campground glamping experience. Has 1 queen size bed and bunk bed. Queen bed is made and bunk bed linens can be provided upon request. This cabin has electricity, heat, private porch, picnic table and fire ring. Please note that there is no plumbing. Cabin guests have full access of our newly renovated bathhouses just a short walk away. Up to 2 dogs allowed with an added flat fee of $25. No additional pets.

Located directly on the Arkansas River, just upstream of Fisherman‘s Bridge, between the Milk Run and Brown’s Canyon. 5 minutes north to Buena Vista. Newly updated this home is elegant, comfortable, and the perfect place to get away. While staying here you can toss in your fishing line, launch your raft, kayak, SUP, or duckie, gather at the fire pit next to the river, or simply lounge in the hot tub (seats 4-6) or dry sauna (seats 2).

Spacious home located on alpaca farm. Quiet and private, storage space for bikes, ski gear etc. Large open living with living room/dining room/reading area/kitchen and two bedrooms with spacious bathroom. Bathroom has shower only (sorry- large soaking tub is in other apartment, which is adjoining to family apartment). Perfect get-away, rent both sides to sleep 8-10. Fully stocked and supplied. Fresh farm eggs and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/cream included. Collect your own eggs, if you want!

The Skylight Chalet

Explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest in Rockies looking at the stars through the skylights. The Skylight Chalet is quite small but ideal for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax and adventure in a restored building in nature <15 mins from downtown Salida. We designed the Skylight Chalet with two queen beds, a covered outdoor deck, and a hanging table surrounded by glass for 4 to eat. We've worked hard designing the Skylight Chalet. We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway. We offer discounts for weekly/longer stays.

Enjoy the gorgeous mountain views, and watch the wildlife roam the property. Your host family lives on property across the driveway and is happy to help should you need anything. We accept dogs, but cannot accept cats due to other guests allergies.
