This property is equipped with a Delta Children Portable mini crib with a thick mattress. This swanky remodeled 3 story duplex is located in the heart of Cardiff-by-the-Sea. The UPSTAIRS “Cardiff Penthouse” has been remodeled by Professional Interior Designer and she pulled out every creative element in her wheelhouse to give this place the edgy contemporary modern look. It evokes sophistication with spanking new Chef’s kitchen surrounded with custom black cabinets, modern appliances with touches of rose gold and brass. Each room has been beautifully furnished with custom designed furniture to further compliment the sophisticated rock star personality. The master bedroom has extra seating with a walk in closet and the master bath has been completely redone with black tile in a 3D dimension. The brass fixtures and designer wallpaper in both bathrooms make it a Las Vegas experience. The entire penthouse offers full ocean views from the bedroom, large luxurious swanky living room and kitchen. You can also lounge comfortably on the deck which further captures the magnificent ocean views. The deck is furnished with an outside table and grill for an afternoon or evening soiree and a beautiful couch to catch the evening sunsets with your favorite beverage. This penthouse is supplied with percale cotton sheets, Belgian linen quilts and Turkish cotton towels. Whether you wish to lounge in elegance or grab your surfboard and head to Cardiff beach and catch some waves you can come back and freshen up in the outdoor shower for your evening festivities. You can rent the Cardiff Penthouse or the Cardiff Parkhouse separately or if you have a family event, you can rent out the entire duplex and create the magic only Cardiff-by-the-Sea can offer. The Penthouse house also comes with beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. Grab a surfboard and head to Cardiff Beach to catch some waves. There are cafes and restaurants nearby too. Hire a bike locally and explore the neighbourhood; a particular favorite is nearby Swami's Beach, where the sunsets can be spectacular.

You can sunbathe, have bbq’s in the outdoor dining area or sit by the firepit and watch the amazing Cardiff sunsets. When you enter this clean contemporary fresh Oasis you will be pleasantly surprised with the quartzite stone island and countertops which has seating for 6. Enjoying your Sauvignon with raw Oysters and views straight to the Pacific will be a lasting memory for this vacation. This exquisite property is located in the beach community of Cardiff-by-the-Sea, with beautiful Glenn Park across the street. It's also within walking distance of a world-class specialty market, Starbucks, and leading restaurants, as well as the Pacific Ocean.

Private Guesthouse with Bay View Deck

The one bedroom, one bath unit was recently remodeled (in 2017) and includes all new kitchen, bathroom, full size laundry and air conditioning. The large 400 square foot private deck has new outdoor furniture with views of Mission Bay and gorgeous sunsets year round. Enjoy a show on the 50" 4K LG smart TV in the living room which offers Netflix, Amazon Video, and major network TV stations. Cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove top, coffeemaker, and more. If you plan to head to the beach, the storage ottoman is secretly a "beach box" containing a couple of folding chairs, beach toys, towels and a small cooler. The unit is stocked with coffee, shampoo, conditioner, laundry supplies, iron, and more. Filtered water is provided via a faucet on the kitchen sink. Easy check-in via a numeric keypad on the front door with the code provided prior to arrival. Plenty of street parking is available. We love meeting new people and live next door in the main house so we are available most anytime. We are both from San Diego and still love to explore the latest new spots so we are happy to give recommendations. Bay Park is a great central neighborhood originally built in the early 1940s. It was recently voted the most livable neighborhood in a recent San Diego poll. Check out the restaurants on Morena Boulevard, which are just a few minutes' walk away or explore all of the major attractions of San Diego easily. The house has easy access to I-5 and is only 10-15 mins from downtown, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the airport. The private guest house is located across from Mission Bay and within walking distance to bay, market, restaurants and coffee shops. Uber/Lyft is $8 to $14 to most of San Diego's main attractions. There is a bit of white noise from the highway down the hill near Mission Bay when out on the deck but nothing too bad, just worthy of mention. The unit has double paned vinyl windows so it's quiet indoors.

The views in our house are absolutely spectacular! The location is central to great restaurants, downtown SD, SeaWorld, and bay beaches where you can kayak or paddle board. It is a ideal choice for vacations and for business travelers looking for a comfortable place to call home while traveling. Entire House, 3 Patios, and parking for car in garage and driveway We like to stay out of our guests way during their stay, but we will always be accessible either via phone call or text; but if you are so relaxed and you don't want to expend energy to text or call, merely ring the wifi doorbell and it will connect to our cell phone and we can address any questions you may have. The mid-century modern house sits on the side of a hill in the La Playa neighborhood of Point Loma, overlooking the harbor. It is a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the harbor, beach, nice restaurants, and amenities. Please note 24 hours before arrival, we will provide you a door code you can use to enter the home, the same code locks the home when you come and go during your stay.
