Guests are encouraged to enjoy the hiking trails, pools, and outdoor amenities. House comfortably sleeps 4, plus fiber-optic internet

Despite accolades from esteemed international design and travel publications (which it has from Monocle, Dwell, Travel + Leisure and many more), this perfectly designed and laid out home isn’t about pomp; it’s about simplicity and reliance upon the natural environment that surrounds it. That was the point when it, and a handful of others, were built in the mid 1960’s to showcase Northern California’s famed Sea Ranch project —and the way humans might one day find a better way to live with nature.

Redwood Retreat at Lala Land is a place of peace & restoration. Perfect getaway from the city or stop-over along the coast. Set back from the town of Gualala, nestled among 10 private acres of coastal redwoods. Private deck ideal for sunrise or sunset while sipping your favorite beverage in the hot tub, or stargazing free from lights. Located on the ridge above Highway 1, Redwood Retreat faces the Southern sky & is often sunny, warm, and wind-free compared to surrounding areas. Very private.

Historic Baker House available for the first time

As seen in Dwell, Turnbull's Baker House is a Sea Ranch classic Binker Barn resting on 2 acres of redwoods. While it was built in 1968, it's been updated to make sure you have everything you need for a private and relaxing stay: the separate office has monitors and 300+ Mbps internet, the kitchen is fully-equipped, and the garage has a level 2 EV charger and a Peloton. Enjoy the outdoors year-round from the hot tub or the Galanter & Jones heated furniture that overlooks the forest and ocean.

The Bluffs at Sea Ranch - Expansive Ocean Views

At The Bluffs unobstructed ocean views and private gardens await! Location, Style and Value - The north end is arguably the best Location on the ranch for visitors! It's closest to the town of Gualala with it's shops, markets and eating/drinking establishments. This Property can be booked online up to 6 months in advance and the calendar is always up to date! Limited to 4 guests, no pets will be considered. An adult over 21 must be present at all times. Not recommended for small children.

Sea Ranch Serenity

Large designer remodelled home -- oceanside with broad ocean views. High-end upgrades, beautifully furnished and decorated for discerning guests. Upstairs living, separate dining, kitchen -- all with broad ocean views; plus nook and 1/2 bath. Lower level: entry, beautiful TV room/game room, office plus two separate wings, each with 2 bedrooms. Wing 1: large luxurious master with king bed and designer bath, & second bedroom with ensuite bath. Wing 2: two bedrooms and another full bath.

Balina: ocean views, hot tub, pets OK, remodeled

Balina is a home on the meadow with ocean views. It is a beautiful location for a relaxing getaway with friends and family. You can sometimes see whales from the deck during whale watching season, which is why the house was named "Balina," Turkish for "whale," by a previous owner. The bluffs are a 5 minute walk from the house with close access to multiple beaches. We currently stay at Balina every other month ourselves, and we care about the condition of the house very much.

ROSEA Ranch: cozy, oceanfront, walk to beach

Located steps from premier sand beach, Walk on Beach. Entering the gates, you'll be greeted by a tranquil, mature garden blocked from the wind, a deck, and a hot tub. Inside this solar powered 1970s modern vernacular contemporary home, you'll find a cozy raised living room positioned for maximum views. Bedrooms are on the ground floor, along with bathrooms, living, dining, fully-equipped kitchen, and laundry. A study is upstairs. 1% of proceeds go to airbnb.org

Heron House is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (dogs only please).
