Orchard and its sister cottage Woodend are situated on Le Vallon, a boutique farm within easy walking distance of the quaint village of Franschhoek, the food and wine capital of South Africa. Each cottage is fully self-contained and perfect for families of all ages. They both have private pools in their good sized private cottage gardens. From the farm it is an easy stroll down into the village main street, but just far enough away to give you the piece and quiet of a rural setting. Orchard Cottage is the larger of the two cottages and is perfect for extended families or group of friends looking for peace and tranquility but still within easy reach of the local attractions. The cottage is self contained, sleeping 6 guests in 3 en-suite bedrooms, two of which have king size beds and the third is ideal for children with twin full size beds. It has a private pool set in the quaint cottage garden with shaded patio and BBQ area. WiFi is complimentary and DSTv is available so sports fans are well catered for. The farm now has both solar power and a standby generator, so the lights will not go out when load shedding occurs, ensuring that you are not inconvenienced during your precious holiday. The twin room can be converted to a private office space if required.
