If you're a fan of 'The Durrells', this is a strawberry-pink villa of dreams. The garden is simply enchanting with the most beautiful flowers, and the patio is perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning and a drink while the sun sets. We also loved the BBQ, the hammock, and the sun loungers under the shade of the trees. The interior has been decorated with care and is so cool in temperature that we didn't even need to turn on the aircon. We also arrived to fresh fruit and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge - a special touch! We do recommend a car for exploring the island, but there is a lovely, authentic taverna (Spiros Taverna) just a short walk away. Nearby, you can visit the beaches, Glifada (our favourite as it was sandy) and Ermones. Theotoky Estate is also close - we did a great wine and olive oil tasting here. Vasso was so helpful with suggestions, and she arranged a taxi, and allowed my girlfriend's mom to check out later because of her evening flight.

A beautiful house and garden in a peaceful area, but within easy walking distance (about 30 minutes) of some lovely beaches. Vasso was extremely helpful and suggested lots of places to go. We had a fantastic time and would certainly return if we have the opportunity.

We had a brilliant week at Vasso's cottage - it really is a beautiful house to relax in. It's very peaceful - away from a fairly quiet road in gorgeous hilly countryside. The road takes you up to Glyfada beach (10min drive). You can also walk to Ermones in 30 mins, another lovely beach, plus the taverna in the village 10min walk away is excellent. We had a car to explore the coast, but the house is near the 'green bus' routes. Vasso was an excellent host and a lovely person - she was there to meet us, left us with local honey and wine, and gave great advice. A lot of our time was spent on the patio looking out over the mountains in the distance. Birds everywhere, lots of wildlife. The house itself had everything and was beautifully put together in a traditional style. Overall it was tranquil perfection - thanks Vasso

The house is so beautiful, the living room is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. the view from the windows is beautiful. we felt like home. The house looks even much better than the photos. But the amazing thing is the garden which is so very beautiful with so many trees and flowers and everything green. we loved to spend time in the garden, we watered the plants, our little daughter loved to do this, we ate fresh figs directly from the tree and waited for the pomegranates to ripe (but no luck :)). We ate outside and even made pizza. The place is amazing, we enjoyed a lot and were very happy at Vasso's house. We would like to return to Vasso's place one day :). Our little daughter was very very happy there. Vasso is so kind and such a warm person and very helpful. Thank you Vasso for such a great holyday. Your place is a gem :)
