What a great place to spend a lovely weekend. The wood stove made it so warm, cozy, and quaint. This place was located just south on the outskirts of town but close enough to be near all the amenities and shops that Bancroft has to offer. We had a great couple of days there!! I would highly recommend this space to others.
Lorie’s place is beautiful!! Very comfortable and private. We loved the decor! The property was very peaceful and the walk down to the river from our door was so enjoyable with the fall colors. If you need a spot to calm your nerves and recharge, this is the place! Thank you Lorie for letting us stay at your amazing home 🙏🏻

we had an amazing time at Lorie's place. The surroundings are just beautiful and peaceful. Lorie is an extremely friendly host. very responsive and helpful. the accommodation is as described and Has everything we needed with a lot of space to sit outside as well. the river is just a 2 minute walk and we could also rent a Kanu from Lorie which was very practical. we can recommend it and wanna come back.
Absolutely beautiful place and exactly as described. Very peaceful and relaxing. Lorie was very friendly and available if needed. We loved the river paddle as well. We highly recommend Lorie’s place for a nice quiet retreat. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!!!

Within that business is Deep Tissue Massage, Life Coaching, Nutrition, Biofeedback Technician and Reflexology. Lorie has an enthusiastic approach with many innovative lifestyle skills . She is passionate in her belief's to inspire, encourage and empower all around her. As a humanitarian at heart, this women is known by many as a spiritualist, teacher, mentor and healer. Fully committed to the betterment of people as a whole society with focus on assisting in her local community., excellent in public relation skills and positive attitude. Ms. Bird was hired in 2007 by Christopher Bolton and Sam Babe to join them in a quest across America to assist their needs in Sports Massage, Nutrition and Coaching for a grueling Cycling Race Across America (RAAM) to raise money for "The Sick Kids Foundation". A 5000 Km race, which started in California and ended in New Jersey. In the last 8 years Lorie has dived passionately into interior design.
