Great apartment in the middle of the medieval town Mdina. The town is almost carfree and at night it is very silent. Great for city people like us. It is close to many good restaurants and bars. It is a very special place to stay!

Josephine's place is a fabulous stay in Medina, which itself is a very picturesque and historic place to be. The accomodation was small but could have accommodated 2 or possibly three friends comfortably. there was 1 double bed and a bed type sofa. The building itself I guess was the same Roman / Arabic architecture as the rest of Medina. The church bells ringing several times per day was actually pleasant and fitted the location well, I didn't mind it at all, it was quite atmospheric. All in all i'd recommend.

Josephine's charming 1 bedroom apartment was a perfect base for my husband, friend and I to explore the lovely walled city of Mdina. The beautiful apt is small for 3 people, but great for our 2-night stay. There is a large bed (king?) in the bedroom that is 2 mattresses and comfortable with good linens. The bedroom has a flat TV and stained glass window. The living area has a kitchen, dining table, twin bed, and 2 chairs. It has a nice bathrooom and laundry. The internet is great. The location is fantastic, in the center of the walled city near the cathedral, and it's very quiet at night. Note: must walk from gate, 5-10mins. It's nice to stay here, because the city gets crowded with tourists in the day, but is peaceful in the early morning and evening. We really liked the pizza at Coogi's. The Mdina Experience was a good movie that helped us understand the history, and the cathedral has a good art museum. Josephine is a lovely host, communicative, flexible and helpful. Recommended!

An unique apartment in the wonderful 16th century city Mdina. The apartment with vaulted ceilings etc has all you need. Mdina is far quieter than Valetta but with good bus connections to Valetta, Hagar Qim, the Blue Grotto etc. Rabat just 5-10 minute walk away has good restaurants. Josephine is an excellent but unintrusive host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend.
